About Frances

I like working with kids because they are good, pure, and funny, both interesting and interested in what you can do for them or show them to do for themselves. They bring joy to each day. And no matter what age I have taught, I find that I have learned something in return. I'm looking for a job that is full time and long term where we'd collaborate in raising children. I began babysitting when I was a teen. While in college I worked as a nanny and eventually went on to teach at my student's school. Eventually, I married and we began a family as we moved around, I continued to work childcare in my home and I taught religious Ed. on Sundays. I have several childcare skills resulting from a lifetime of experience. As a military mother, I often found myself alone in a strange place with 5 children so I had to become very creative, entertaining, and patient. I had to excel at planning and decision making. A routine played an important role, closely followed meal prep and laundry.
