About Flora

Hello! My Name is Flora, and I am a recent graduate from Lewis & Clark College. I'd describe my personality as kind, empathetic, and dependable. I like working with kids because they are the future! Their success is vital for everyone and everything. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I took an Early Childhood Development course that changed my perspective on how important education and care is! In this class, I volunteered part time/toured different daycares, while simultaneously learning about the cognitive development that takes place in the first few years of life. In my spare time, I like to weight lift, read books, and write songs. One thing you should know about me is that I am flexible and open minded! I am always willing to work with you in regard to your specific needs, or requests. My skills include preparing simple meals and snacks, planning activities, and patience.
