About Fiona

Hi! My name is Fiona and I've been working with children since my freshman year of high school. I attended a technical school where I attended learning program for students wishing to pursue early childhood education. Here I had the opportunity to co-teach in a preschool, creating and teaching my own lesson plans. In my senior year, I interned with an elementary school teacher, often assisting her students one-on-one. These experiences have taught me the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. I also have multiple years of babysitting experience across ages. I have first-aid training and am CPR certified. I work as a daycare teacher at the YMCA caring for children 6 months to 8 years old. As a student at the University of Vermont, I love the outdoors and finding fun ways to explore nature! I love pets and can help with feeding/walking. I can also help with cooking and do light cleaning.
