About Fiona

I'd describe my personality as engaging, passionate and enthusiastic. I like tutoring because I enjoy sharing my passion for the English language through teaching. I have been working with youth of ages 4-21 since 2016. I have worked at two summer camps, an aftercare program, and Northeastern University. In my spare time, I like to repair and ride bikes, read books, write, hang out with friends, and develop my skills in photography and videography. One thing you should know about me is that I'm very dedicated and loyal in jobs that involve care. In my past roles as a babysitter, dog sitter, tutor and upper educational assistant, I have become steadfastly committed to my role. I develop a bond with the student/youth and feel invested in their success and happiness. My expertise includes asking thought-provoking questions, providing open-ended feedback and teaching practical grammar and writing skills.
