About Finn

Hello! I'm Finn, and I have over 13 years combined experience working with youth of all ages. I got my start in youth work by programming and directing a summer camp for 10 years, working closely with varied groups of 7-13-year-olds. I also spent time as a case manager in homeless shelters and housing programs for teens, helping them find resources, and taking care of their little ones. I currently work as an after school teacher at a private school here in Chicago, working with prek-4th grade. I have facilitated many adult groups in how to be active listeners, set healthy boundaries and communicate with children. I fully believe in working to empower children, by celebrating them and their accomplishments. I also believe children learn best through play and curiosity, and encourage hands-on activities. I also have a lot of experience in crafting and art media, and enjoy facilitating learning through creating. I look forward to hearing from you.
