About Filomena

Hello! I have over 15 years of experience caring for children from newborns to teenagers. I have also worked with children with special needs. I treat every child I look after with the same attention and care that I provide to my own daughter, and I respect each family's decisions regarding how they want to raise their children. I can promise to care for them to the best of my ability. I am 46 years old and have an amazing 13-year-old daughter who believes she is 35, lol! I enjoy crafting and making little keepsakes with the child(ren) I am caring for, with the parents' approval. I am extremely hands-on and not someone who simply places a child in front of the TV. I feel it's vital to keep children engaged. I am also bilingual in Italian, both written and spoken. Please know that I have been fingerprinted by the Department of Education and am CPR-certified.
