My name is Fernanda and I would describe my personality as very charismatic, determined, responsible, caring, highly organized, very active, and fun-loving!! I am originally from Brazil and have been living in the US since 2016. My experience as an au pair for four years with the same family allowed me to transition into becoming a nanny in 2019, a role that I still hold today. Working with children brings me immense joy, and I have always had a passion for engaging in many activities with them. Over the course of almost 9 years, I have gained a lot of experience working with children between the ages of 0-18, with special focus on newborns and toddlers, which has given me trusted and valuable references. I am fluent in Portuguese and have been able to teach the language to some of the children I have worked with. I met Fernanda through another family, and from the moment we met, my daughter was instantly drawn to her. Fernanda is incredibly kind, loving, and caring, and it was clear right away that she had a special way with my daughter. My daughter struggles with separation anxiety whenever she is away from me, even when she’s with her dad or grandma. Fernanda is always so reassuring and keeps me updated, letting me know that my daughter calms down quickly. She also sends me photos of all the fun they’re having, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. One of the things I especially love about Fernanda is how active and engaged she is with my daughter. She takes her to the beach, playgrounds, playdates, and other fun activities, so I know she’s not only being well cared for but is also having a wonderful time. I use Fernanda whenever I need a date night or when my schedule changes and I need some extra support. I feel completely comfortable and confident leaving my daughter with her, which means so much to me. I’m incredibly grateful to have found someone we both love and trust, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Fernanda to any family looking for someone caring, dependable, and wonderful with children.
