About Fernanda

My passion for working with children started when I was just 19 yrs old, and became a teacher assistant while I was studying Pedagogy. After my first degree, I pursued a postgraduate degree in Literacy. As I gained more experience, I became a head teacher and loved every moment of it, but I always felt there was more to learn. That's why I came to America as an Au Pair in 2015. I came to improve my English and further my education. I had the pleasure of caring for two amazing kids (6 months + 3 yrs old). Soon after, I was hired by another family with two more wonderful children (2 yrs old + 12 yrs old). We still keep in touch to this day! I returned to Brazil and worked at a bilingual school with infants and children from six months all the way up to 5 years old. But my love for working with families and their children brought me back to America. I have great experience in driving, running errands, cleaning, and I'm also certified in CPR.
