I am a 54yr old compassionate caregiver with more than 12 years of experience engaging seniors living at home and facilities to improve ADL's activity levels and general wellness. I've worked with all seniors including but not limited to Parkinson's, Dementia, COPD and Congestive Heart Disease. I lost my grandmother 85 yrs old to dementia on January 14th 2020 she was a strong matriarch in our family I took care her 15yrs without hesitating. I enjoyed helping her and would love the opportunity to assist you. A few of my skills include housekeeping and cooking. assisting with daily living activities like dressing, grooming, bathing, and meal preparation and doctors appointments. Felicia is a very caring, thoughtful, detailed oriented and has a can do attitude! She was able to schedule various medical appointments, attend the appointments and take detailed notes for my father, who she took care of until literally his dying breath. She remembered birthdays and other significant events and helped him celebrate these events with family through cards and gifts. She attended to his needs by being a companion that talked about his younger days, events, and listened to him talk about his good old days. She was able to prepare meals, as needed and did daily house tasks (washing, cleaning bathrooms and straightening up rooms). No task was too small or big for Felicia and she her positive attitude and personality helped tremendously during the months she cared for my father.
