About Fatima

I am a 42-year-old mother of four. worked as a C. N. A for over 10 years both in a hospital, nursing home (where I worked in the Alzheimer's and rehab units) too. I had worked in group homes dealing with all sorts of clients. I also have a diploma as a Medical Assistant. I went to CCRI also for computer programming and did work for two banks for a while when I was younger. I realized that my passion was not in banking but in human services helping people, mostly kids and the elderly. I had a blast whilst working with the elderly so I wanted to go back to human services. Since I had four small children then, I realized that paying for childcare would be too much so I took classes for childcare services and got a license and became a certified child care provider by DCYF. For years, I was able to not only spend time with my young children but also worked in childcare by caring for children at my own home. I also got experience with working with children who had some disabilities like autism and other types of developmental challenges. I love caring and making a difference in the lives of people. As a part time job, I have also worked as a caregiver for an elderly man.
