We the parents were not lucky to find a suitable preschool to our daughter. She went into 3 different schools. The first one was all day play type, literally no academic content. It took her 11 months to sing abc....., no letter recognition nor sounds. We pulled her out in 2 months from the second one because we noticed a regression in her progress. The third one was mainstream tutorial but in 5 months our daughter could only recognize few letters, and some sounds. We got worried at this time and seek consultation in case there is a problem at the same time we decided to find her a personal tutor. Thanks to Mrs. F to step in to help with years of teaching experience. Mrs. F prepared a personal curriculum and shaped her methodology in the first week of tutorial. Our daughter absolutely has no problem at all but needed attention and the right content with the right approach. To our surprise, our daughter mastered the letters as well as the sounds in 2 months. On the third month, only English became boring, and Mrs. F needed to mix in a little bit of math. On month 4, our daughter started reading a simple sentence with help as needed. Now, she is well beyond the minimum expectation of a preschooler. Some attention with a good bit of challenges worked very well. Easy is silly for our daughter. She wanted a fast-paced educational environment rather than a slow progressing teaching methodology. Thank you Mrs. F to help us understand our daughter's educational weeds and needs. It is a huge plus when all these achievements were accompanied with charming, funny, and bubbly personality. What more shall be expected from a professional educator!! Highly recommended.
