About Fatima

While studying for my IB exams, I became certified as an AVID tutor and was an aide in AVID classrooms my senior year of high school. After graduation, as a means to make extra cash and keep my skill sharp, I tutored during the holidays and summers while in undergrad. What makes my tutoring approach unique is that I remember what it was like to need help in school. My ability to put myself in the student's shoes when it comes to the type of frustration they might feel while struggling with new concepts comes in handy when coming up with lesson plans and handling their emotions.
