About Fariba

I am a mother of four amazing adult children. I gave high priority to their academic achievements and was present to assist and problem solve. They are independent learners each in their own way. Yes everyone is different, but there is a way to connect with every child. I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. I hold a graduate degree in Computer Science and have a year of tutoring experience, specializing in Math, Science, Test Preparation, and Study Skills for students in elementary through middle school. I focus on building confidence rather than relying on rote memorization. I watch how a student responds to new material, then adapt my approach with examples that fit the way the student learns. The best part is celebrating every "aha!" moment. I keep communication open so we always stay on track with academic goals. Whether we meet at your home, at a library, or online, my aim is to create a supportive space.
