I have worked as a CNA for about 8 years now. My first job was in an adult family home with 6 adult clients with special needs. All the clients had different needs. After I worked in the adult family home for about a year and a half, I got a job at Salmon Creek Hospital as a CNA for 3 years on the surgical floor. The hospital really helped me connect with all kinds of people in short periods of time, so I feel I gained very good people skills. I am now working in home care for the past 4 years. I've had a client with MS, a hospice client, and clients with dementia. I connect very well with my clients. I treat them like my family. Every one of my clients holds a very special place in my heart and always will.
