I plan and implement play and various activities, accounting for cultural relevance, developmental-appropriateness and consistency with the family's core values. I can review classwork and assist with homework to boost student understanding of assignments. I have particular expertise in literature and creative writing. I Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging empathy positive views, and nervous system regulation. I balance rest, play, learning, and fun by using effective scheduling and the needs and mood of the child. I support the children in my care by modeling responses to challenging situations, using gentle disciplinary techniques, and reinforcing good choices. I maintain excellent communication with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors and any other related issues.
