I have been helping to care for little ones since childhood, when I would help my godmother care for her kids. In middle school I babysat and got my first regular job picking kids up from elementary school and walking them home. In college I had a job working with twin toddlers on the autism spectrum. I have worked as an assistant Montessori teacher with primary kids (3-5), and have nannied for children from 3 months to 8 years of age. Most of all, though, I love caring for infants. I also love connecting with Nature and cultivating children's innate curiosity for life. I am very comfortable with pets and will always model respect for all lifeforms, even bugs. I'm seeking a warm family, ideally with one infant for part-time work. Full-time hours with the right fit. I'm open to families of any race, ethnicity, or religion, and am LGBTQ friendly.

Faith was our daughter's nanny from 6 to 14 months. She was warm and genuinely engaged: singing to her, taking her outside, saying hi to the trees on their walks, and finding ways to introduce new things she could actually grasp at that age. She was great about handwashing early on, and talked to her constantly, narrating and engaging throughout the day. She took our daughter to the sandbox all the time, and somehow we never once found sand in the house! She was also easy to communicate with and adjusted to our needs. We eventually transitioned to family for childcare, but we always trusted Faith with our daughter and would recommend her to any family in need.
