I have been a caregiver for as long as I can remember. I started caring for older people when I was age 17 and became a passion of mine. I've cared for each individual like they were my own grandparents or family members. I am a very responsible person and very patient also. I love to learn from the older generation and there accomplishments over there lifetime so far. One of my hopes for the people that I am carrying for is to get them back to being 100%. Sometimes we kno it is not going to happen but I still try. You don't want the person you are caring for to feel like they are loosing their independence. That's something no one wants to experience.
