We cannot express enough how integral and indispensable Fibi has been for our family! Our son has now started pre-school and I know we are going to miss her in our daily lives so so much as we transition to school full-time. She is very warm, welcoming and down to earth, and clearly has immense passion caring for and helping raise children. Fibi joined us when our son was 3 months old, he is now 22 months and we are endlessly impressed with her ability to adapt daily to his (and mine for that matter 😅) needs, moods, and interests. Let alone keep our house in shape, which we all know is no easy feat with children. She also helps with light housework/cleaning including laundry, dishes, vacuuming common areas etc. He loves his "beebee" so much, he often "tells us" stories about their day and mentions her frequently on weekends with a smile 😄 She is incredibly patient with our son, I very frequently hear little boy giggles from my office when they play, sing and dance. They read many many many books a day. She comes up with creative and fun activities, crafts, is an expert water-table supervisor and can build Lego and tile towers with the best of them. She has definitely discovered a little artiste! He asks for "beebee art" frequently and knows exactly which cabinet to go to 🙂 Fibi is attentive and has safety front and center which gives us huge peace of mind. She stays on top of his routine and what he needs at each stage of development; keeping an eye out to foster skills, abilities, and tailor activities to compliment each milestone. I couldn't ask for someone more passionate and knowledgeable! Fibi is also very helpful to us as first time parents. She is patient with us, will answer any question we have and provides experienced recommendations. She lets us know when he might need or could benefit from something new or different. Many times she knows he's ready prior to us realizing he might be ready for that change or transition. e.g. when his nap schedule needed to change as he got older and transitioned from 2-3 naps to 2 and finally to 1 afternoon, when he was ready for a faster flow bottle, new foods, different textures, straw cups, phasing out pacifiers, introducing potty training etc. It may be common to hear of nannies disagreeing with the parents on how to handle various things that go into raising children. From safety practices, food/snacks, toys, discipline etc. I am happy to say we have never EVER had this issue. Fibi always has his best interests at heart and executes what we ask/want as the parents and what we collectively as his main caregivers think is best. ❤️ (I'm very thankful she is huge advocate for NO screen time!) Our son is more than prepared for pre-school in very large part due to Fibi. He knows many words in sign language, has over 150 words verbally even stringing 2-3 words together consistently. He can already name all the main colors, all the letters, can sing most of the ABC's, and he can count to 13! just to name a few things 🤗 We were comfortable from day 1 leaving our son with Fibi in our house without us. She was a huge help while I was nursing and pumping while navigating going back to work. She even made sure to check in with me to ensure I was eating enough and eating the healthy food I was trying to stick to! It goes without saying, Fibi goes above and beyond for the children and families who are lucky enough to cross paths with her. She truly has become a loved member of our family and is an extension of us as caregivers! We will always cherish this time we've had with Fibi. I wish she could stay with us forever 😄 (p.s. to Fibi, if we decide to have more children, you'll be my first call ❤️ don't tell his grammy!)
