About Evie

With a masters degree in art therapy I understand the importance of creativity and play in a child's learning and development. I'm always looking for new ways to make learning fun, and can incorporate creative skills in many ways whether through art making, outdoor games, educational activities, or technology. As a caregiver, I understand the importance of open communication. I make sure to keep parents informed about their child's day, whether it's through verbal updates at pickup or regular texts. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and maintaining a safe and structured environment for the children in my care. I believe in fostering independence while also providing guidance and support. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I'm also comfortable caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens as well as those with special needs.
