About Evelyn

I am a patient and deeply caring teacher, constantly researching better ways to motivate those in my care. I also thrive on a great sense of humor. It helps to smooth out many of the speed bumps in life! I've cherished relating to many children ages 3-14, with such a wide variety of personalities, learning styles, and needs, in my 50 years in the field. I home-schooled our two children in elementary and junior high school. I've also earned two degrees in Child Development. I continually hone my skills in the Three Rs (reading, writing, and arithmetic). I am particularly strong in math and all things English. I am a lifelong non-smoker. All of my immunizations are up-to-date. I also have a squeaky clean background - both in driving and in life! I have reliable transportation. I am excited to learn where I'll be needed next!
