About Evelyn

I started babysitting in my early teens for neighbors and volunteered as a Sunday school teacher for 1st graders at my church ages 14-18. I have always enjoyed working with children because I admire their curiosity and excitement for the world around them. I took a child development class in high school which included a semester of assisting as a preschool teacher where I cared for their needs in addition to planning lessons. I then began babysitting for my high school music director whose daughter was one of my preschool students. I also have experience with caring for infants! Caring for and being a positive figure in children's lives is one of the most rewarding things in my life. I also care deeply about the ways in which I can assist parents in general! I am currently a first year (rising sophomore) at Union College studying English and French. I am home for the summer from June 17 to September 3
