-I was in a peer education program in high school that gave me real experience learning curriculum and then teaching it to classes of my peers. -After this, I got my first paid job in education as a Teacher's Aide at a childcare center. I was placed in classrooms varying from infant age to elementary age children. When I turned 18, I was assigned my very own classroom as a Teacher! I got my certificate for Early Childhood Education from Olympic College and worked with toddlers until I decided to transfer to The Evergreen State College in pursuit of my Bachelors. -I then applied to the Olympia School District where I have been working as a Paraeducator in High School Special Education for 3 years. :)
