About Eva

Over the past year, I have been a tutor in early reading, phonics/"foundations" and math. Most of these tutoring experiences were blended with normal childcare, as I served as both a tutor and nanny. I have experience assisting children with Zoom lessons and remote school work. In Parma, Italy, while abroad for the year, I worked as a teaching assistant for a 3rd grade class, and devised and led games and activities to help enhance language comprehension and acquisition. I was also a tutor in English as a second language. I have also assisted college and high school students in essay writing and creative writing. My strengths include working closely with each individual student, creating targeted strategies, routines and activities based upon their unique learning styles and goals.
