I am a father of 4 and grandfather to one. I am a positive, humble, and active listener. I have experience of about 9 years now. Most of my clients have been males of whom I have benefited from their wisdom. It is, therefore, my pleasure and deep desire to work for seniors preferably men. I will provide a safe environment for you wherever you need the care.

I initially hired Esphan for companion care because my father had dementia, was very able-bodied, and loved to play games. Esphan kept me informed with photos and daily texts to share their activities: taking walks, playing pool, playing checkers, chess, and card games. Eventually, as my father’s needs changed, Esphan shared his observations and recommendations, and was able to provide additional care for my father as needed. 

Esphan always treated my father with the highest level of respect, and he appreciated the conversations my dad wanted to share. Esphan’s kind & gentle approach to people and his great senses of curiosity & humor provided so much enjoyment and laughter for my father; he was ever-ready to engage with my dad and with whatever activity my dad wished to do.

My father was able to live a full and happy life in his last two years with Esphan’s assistance, and my family is forever grateful for Esphan’s exceptional care.

As a retired police officer/detective, my younger brothers requested that I find a caregiver to care for my father, who was on hospice. I interviewed Esphan and was very happy I did.  Esphan has a heart of gold and is truly a good person. For the past couple months Esphan has helped our family by caring  for my father during the overnight hours. Esphan ensured my dad was safe and even slept on the floor next to his bed when my dad didn't want to be alone. That is just one example of how awesome Esphan is. Esphan is a gentle man who takes his charge very seriously.  From the moment we met him, we knew it was a "fit".

From my mother:

We had the privilege of having Esphan care for my husband after my husband's major surgery.   Esphan knew that my husband was a fall risk so he would always be at his side when he needed to get in or out of bed, get around the house, take a shower and get dressed. Esphan packed up my husband's walker in our car, got my husband in and drove us to doctor's appointments. He even washed and folded clothes, loaded, emptied and put away dishes from the dishwasher for me. He was always looking for anything else he could do to help us. He even went to the grocery store and pharmacy for us. He is a kind, caring man. When my husband was sleeping, Esphan prepared tea for me and told me interesting stories. He spent a good amount of time caring for my physical and emotional well being. He even won over our Chihuahua that was extremely protective of my husband. Needless to say he was always on time. My husband and I will always appreciate him. On his last day with us, his parting words were that he would be calling to check on us. We highly recommend Esphan.

Esphan worked 12 hours every night seven days per week caring for my husband in our home during his final illness.  Esphan's care was infinitely better than the care my husband had received when he was in a highly rated skilled nursing facility.  Esphan is trustworthy and compassionate and allowed me to maintain my health during a very stressful time. He is professional and dependable and related well to the entire family.

Esphan was a HUGE blessing to our family during the 9 month decline and death of my Dad.  He took loving and wonderful care of my Dad during my Dad's season of greatest need for help.  Esphan knew what to do and he did it well.  We trusted him and enjoyed that he became part of our family.  Esphan was reliable and dedicated to providing whatever was needed.  One of Esphan's references that I called before he started caring for my Dad said: "Esphan was one of the best things that happened to us during a very difficult time".  I agree!
