About Esmi

Taking care of children and supporting families is something I really enjoy and am passionate about. With two years of experience in childcare and respite care, I have developed a patient, calm, and caring approach when working with children. I have an associate's degree that includes Early Child Development coursework and maintain current CPR and First Aid training. I enjoy keeping children engaged through outdoor activities, sports, board games, creative activities, and educational technology. I am comfortable following and enforcing household rules while creating a friendly and comfortable environment. I believe communication with parents is important and always provide honest updates about their child's day and anything that may come up. I am also happy to help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, homework, and fun activities. I enjoy being someone families can depend on and being a positive presence in children's lives.
