Hello! I have always felt like I have had such a special and close bond, connection, understanding and love for children. I grew up with 4 brothers and 1 sister and we are all very close to each other. I am a volunteer for the Special Olympics and I have worked in before and after school programs, kindergarten through fifth grade, planning activities, helping with homework and preparing snacks. I love playing outside and being active. I love being creative and having fun. I am very patient, reliable, dependable, outgoing, self-confident, humble, kind and happy. I love being able to help out others whenever I can. I love teaching others and learning from them. I think all children are simply... beautiful.

Erin is such a kind caring person! She is a great listener, reliable,VERY patient, very observant and compassionate. She has been part of the big Sisters program for some time and loves it! She has the ability to make children feel safe and secure and she makes them feel like they are their new best friend! She just seems to have that special connection with kids that not everyone has! Her outgoing nature keeps kids challenged and she can teach new skills to kids in a way that they don't realize that they are being taught a new skill! I think because Erin thinks "outside the box" and doesn't want to be the kind of care giver that just uses the TV or video games as the "babysitter". I would HIGHLY recommend Erin to work with children or pets! Kd
