About Erik

I am available for online and in-person tutoring. When online, I meet with my students via video call and use screen-sharing and a virtual whiteboard during sessions. In-person tutoring availability depends on your location and my schedule. I am a Washington State certificated teacher with over 20 years of math/science teaching experience. I am endorsed in Biology, Chemistry, and Middle Level Mathematics. I've worked with students in grades 6-12 in mainstream, alternative, and online settings. I enjoy working with students one-on-one and in small groups. I've lived in Steilacoom, WA for 20 years. My wife is a teacher and my children are in middle school. I'm ready to work with your child to help them reach their full potential! Having worked with kids of different ages in various educational settings over the years, I understand the unique strengths and challenges of different students, and I am skilled in helping them find success.
