About Erika

Hi families! I'm Erika, a 23-year-old from Virginia Beach, VA, with a genuine passion for children. I believe children are like sponges, so I love pouring positivity, patience, encouragement, and love into them. I was raised in a daycare setting until age 15, making childcare a natural part of my life. I worked as an Assistant Teacher at Creative World School and now nanny and babysit for families. I'm energetic, caring, and firm. I enjoy watching children learn, explore, and grow while being a positive role model. I'm looking for a family where I can make a difference, help a child understand the world around them, and create a safe environment. My experience began young, including caring for children around age 5 or 6 and officially babysitting around age 15. In 2020, I began working with children professionally. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walks, spontaneous adventures, and learning new hobbies. I'm open-minded, adaptable, patient, and communicative.
