About Erika

I was always the little girl who offered to help change diapers and feed babies at family gatherings. Even at 5 or 6 years old, I would always help the adults take care of the infants and toddlers rather than play with the children my own age. I first began formally baby sitting on my own at 12 years old after taking child and baby first aid courses and continued to babysit regularly through and past college working for several families on a regular childcare schedule. This would include school pick ups, homework help, and dinner prep. In my late 20s I worked as a full time nanny to a 5-year-old and a 5-month-old ( and a 7-year-old German Shepherd) for several months and was responsible for pre-k drop offs and pick ups, laundry, meals, and play date transportation. In my spare time, I like to take my dog Kylo on walks and hikes, garden, try new recipes in the kitchen, and take on overly ambitious home improvement projects.
