About Erika

I'd describe my personality as kind, creative & understanding. I like working with kids because kids are amazing. I love being able to guide them through their emotions and take part in their pure amazement of life! I'm looking for a job that allows me to bring my 4-year-old with me. As well as something that is consistent and can become my full time job. I started working with kids when I was still in high school! I've worked with kids in many different aspects of life and especially now as a parent myself, I see even more how important great and loving caregivers are. In my spare time, I like to be outside with my little girl! One thing you should know about me is I truly believe that every child is on their own journey, and it is not my job to tell any child (including my own) who or how to be. The greatest thing I can do for any child in my care is guide them the best I can. My skills include navigating big feelings, redirecting and giving lots of love and uplifting words!
