About Erika

Hello! I just recently got out of working in childcare centers and I am now looking to do more nannying. I love working with little ones and most of my experience is with infants and young toddlers. I was a preschool teacher for a year, so I do have some experience with that age group as well. I also have experience with working with children on all ends of the autism spectrum. I also just recently earned my CDA for birth-5. When it come to caring for your kids, I believe young children thrive off of a basic schedule that also has a little flexibility for special outing/experiences. I am a huge believer in learning through play. I also love facilitating and watching children explore sensory and art experiences. I am comfortable doing light housework, like tidying the kids' room and playroom and doing kids' laundry. I'm not super comfortable doing meal prep, especially for the whole family. I can make simple meals like pasta, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets etc.
