About Erika

Hello! My name is Erika, I have experience working as a paraprofessional/substitute in the GD school district with children ranging in ages from kindergarten to fourth grade. In this position I am caring for children as well as aiding their education. I am currently studying nutrition at Syracuse University and hold a Servsafe certification. I am very comfortable creating engaging activities, helping with homework, cooking meals/making snacks, and maintaining an enjoyable atmosphere. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and safety is always my top priority. I am extremely flexible schedule wise and I am willing to accommodate to any needs you may have. I like working with kids because watching them learn and grow is an extremely rewarding feeling. Seeing children flourish and have fun is very inspiring to see even as an adult. Children have the ability to find joy in the simplest things and they make my day brighter.
