I'm a Vet student and ex-nanny with free time during my summer break! I love children and previously was a nanny for 3 girls, ages 6 months to 6 years. I am patient, easy going, and depending on client needs, I can be both independent and/or follow specific requests. I'm very flexible! I'd describe my personality as attentive, patient, and optimistic. I like working with kids because I genuinely have a good time playing with kids and I like being a positive influence on how they begin to view the world. I would like to work 10-15 hours a week but I am also open to babysitting on an as-needed basis. I started nannying in 2020, but I have a long history of babysitting neighborhood kids and my cousins. In my spare time, I like to walk my dog, weight-lift, explore the city, make crafts, and explore new hobbies. My skills include listening to the child, time management, and allowing the children to have fun in a safe way. My prior nanny family is happy to be a reference for me.

Erika is amazing! She became our nanny when my oldest had just turned 2 and my second was a newborn. She was with us full-time for 3 years and now still occasionally babysits for us on the weekends. We now have 4 kids ages 2-7 and Erika manages them all without any issues. She has helped us with everything from early morning to bedtime: feeding, bathing, putting kids to bed, driving to school and activities, and excursions like the zoo/pool/indoor playground. Erika is responsible and completely trustworthy - I have never questioned her judgment. She is kind and patient with our children and they adore her. Erika is proactive and focuses on engaging with the kids in her care while she’s working, showing interest in the things they like and thoughtfully organizing games and activities. She learns and adapts quickly and is very flexible and helpful. In addition to being an amazing caregiver, Erika is also a joy to be around. We have brought her with us on vacations and love being in her company because she’s an incredible person. She once came to my house at 5am on short notice so I could get to a funeral out of town. Erika is a true gem who any family would be very lucky to know!!
