In high school I had a 4. 3 GPA and took all the AP classes, including a 5 on the AP Calculus II exam. I was blessed with very reliable teachers that explained it the way I learned. When I got to college as a Mechanical Engineer undergrad, I struggled because a lot of the professors didn't take the time to teach the way my brain understood things. They simply expected us to read the text book and understand. That's not how everyone learns. It was very frustrating! I believe that any student has the mental aptitude to learn, they just have to be presented with it in the right way. Everyone learns differently, and I think that is one of my greatest strength--to teach in a unique and reliable way for each student. I am very confident I can help your son/daughter learn any subject, specifically math, better than the other students in their class.
