I am an energetic and positive tutor and I love encouraging my students with the truth that anyone can do math! I have a bachelors degree in industrial and systems engineering from the Ohio State University. I currently work for an engineering consulting company in Connecticut and tutor on the side. I began tutoring when I was a senior in high school, and have tutored in all levels of math up through pre calculus. Most recently I taught an ssat prep class for 8 middle school students. This upcoming school year will be new and challenging for everyone, but I am here to help! With patience and practice, we can all be excellent students!

Erica is amazing! I have used a few tutors for math for my son (9 yrs) and Erica is by far the best. Erica is able to explain a concept to the student while still leading them to find the solution for themselves. She uses fun tricks to help the child remember how to solve a problem; it was really cool to see my son use one of these and get to the right answer. Erica is simply outstanding. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.
