About Erica

I began working in a daycare during my undergraduate studies, where I discovered my passion for supporting young children's growth and development. After earning my bachelor's degree, I spent six years as a middle school teacher, building strong relationships with students and families while creating engaging, structured learning environments. Upon completing my master's degree, I transitioned into educational leadership, where I continue to advocate for child-centered, developmentally responsive practices. I believe in nurturing the whole child by emphasizing self-expression, joy, and safety, and I value literacy and the arts as powerful tools for growth and confidence. I love learning new things myself and currently enjoy learning piano, which reflects the curiosity and creativity I encourage in children. As a caregiver, I bring strong communication skills, patience and empathy, and effective behavior guidance strategies to ensure children feel supported, understood, and secure.
