About Erica

Hello! My name is Erica. I am a former teacher (preschool, kindergarten, and first grade) who recently spent a wonderful year and a half in northern Spain where I was an au pair for a beautiful baby girl. I will be returning to the US in September and would love the chance to nanny again in my new home of Louisville. One thing I can say about my life is that I couldn't see myself working in any other field than childcare. I absolutely love working with kids and used to tell my students who asked me, "why don't you have any babies?" to which I would reply, "You're all my babies!". Having been able to teach in a variety of settings-public and private, religious and secular, and abroad, I feel like it's helped me develop a variety of skills when it comes to nurturing little ones. I have no children of my own, but aside from being a teacher and nanny, I have helped raise a slew of nieces and nephews. I am comfortable with pets as well.
