I am currently working on my M. S in speech-language pathology at San Jose State University. Consequently, I am educated in phonetics, child development, and important academic milestones. Over the past 3 years, I have helped many children who need support with reading and writing. I am also comfortable and experienced working with children with ADHD, autism, and emotional regulation difficulties. Additionally, I have experience teaching children foundational math skills. I am patient and empathetic and this approach has proven to resonate well with the children I work with. The reason I decided to pursue speech pathology is because I am passionate about helping children succeed academically, as I believe all children are capable when provided with the appropriate tools and resources. While in graduate school, I work as a tutor to practice my passion for supporting children reach their full potential.
