We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today. This quote has stuck with me ever since I read it. I am a mother of four looking to help you care for your children. I believe every child has a voice worth hearing, if you listen close enough, you will understand what they are telling you, whether they use words or not. I have recently moved to NC from Vermont. I can provide references. In the neighborhood I just moved from, I was called the nurturer with an abundance of patience. I've always had "extra" children around. I may only have four, but often I would have 10 in my yard. My house was a gathering place for kids of all ages, and I loved it. Kids give you insight even when you are not looking for it. Kids have a way of keeping you young and optimistic. I may not have had formal "babysitting" jobs as a teenager, or as an adult, but I do believe I have done a good job with my own. My kids are 9, 11, 17, and 18. I have a very strong bond with all of them.
