About Emy

I am a dedicated and experienced caregiver with over 15 years of experience working with children as a nanny, teacher, tutor, and parent. I am currently a middle school teacher and mom to an incredible teenaged daughter. I bring a calm, thoughtful, and structured approach to childcare that helps children feel safe, supported, and confident. I have experience with children from infancy through adolescence, including those with special needs and medically sensitive backgrounds. I am CPR and First Aid certified, a strong swimmer, an excellent cook, and comfortable providing light housekeeping, meal preparation, and daily routines. I value clear boundaries, respect for children's autonomy, and creating nurturing environments where kids can learn, explore, and grow. My family jokingly calls me a "baby whisperer," but truly, I take pride in building trusting relationships with both children and parents and becoming a dependable, positive presence in their lives.
