About Emmy

I am a college student who has five years of experience as a volunteer tutor and two years of experience as a professional one! I love to help kids learn and use the philosophies of progressivism and behaviorism to teach them. I believe that each child is an individual with their own needs, and that creating a plan for them with this in mind is what will help them flourish as students. I am adept at teaching any subject for elementary and middle school. For older students, I specialize in writing and biology. I also play and have taught the trumpet, piano and drums, and am able to teach music theory as well.
