About Emmie

I'd describe my personality as kind, silly, and determined. I like caring for seniors because I love connecting with them. They are all full of beautiful stories of a life well lived. I feel like I can relate to them a lot too; most people would say I have an old soul. I started caring for seniors when my grandma got diagnosed with dementia and she had to be moved to a nursing home. I would visit her as often as I could with my dad, because I knew she was lonely and needed someone to talk to. She passed away a few years ago, but I wanted to work with seniors ever since. In my spare time, I like to read mystery and horror novels. I also love to spend time outdoors, with my family, or with animals.
