About Emmie

I'd describe my personality as cheerful, caring, and loving. I have been working with kids for over 9 years in many different settings, including babysitting, nannying, volunteering in church nurseries, working as a camp counselor, volunteering for afterschool programs, and more. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, camp, craft, or try new coffee shops! Something you should know about me is that I am currently pursuing a psychology degree and hoping to work with children in my future career. I have been taking classes geared towards that path, such as Developmental Psych, EC Psych, and Psych of Adolescence, and have loved and learned so much from each! My skills include excellent conflict resolution/deescalating tense situations, a practiced knowledge of how to communicate with children of all ages, and an understanding of how kids' minds process information and emotions.
