I have been a caregiver since high school- working with Spanish-speaking families, families with children with disabilities, etc. I absolutely adore working with kids and currently have an internship at an elementary school where I am working towards getting my Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant license. I worked as a Church Nursery caregiver for four years, leading the team and updating parents. I have worked with a range of children aging from infants to teens. I am dedicated to creating a safe, joyful, exciting, and compassionate environment with the children I care for where they feel loved, heard, and seen. I love the outdoors so I am always up to take kiddos to the pool, the park, etc. and also love arts and crafts for any kiddos that prefer to read, draw, dance, build, etc. I aim for the kids I care for to feel like everyday is an adventure and to look forward to the time we spend together!

Emma was such a gift to our family! She worked with us for a summer, caring primarily for our infant son (starting at 4 mo) and also for our 8yo and 10yo kiddos as well. She brought a tremendous amount of energy to our home, engaging joyfully with our infant all day long. She put her expertise in speech pathology to work and continued to grow in her knowledge of developmental milestones for infants. She made sure he got outdoors frequently and really learned a lot about what he needed - and shared that with us. She also connected with our older kiddos (who thought they were past the nanny stage). Emma is a gift to any kiddo or family who has the chance to work with her!
