About Emma

Hi my name is Emma! I am 20 years old and currently attending UTA (University of Texas at Arlington) to earn my BSN degree. I have always loved kids and found connecting with them easy. I grew up babysitting many family friends children, starting when I was 8 years old. I also babysat a family friend's 3-year-old consistently for about a year before I started college. Before switching my major to nursing, I had always intended to become a kindergarten teacher, so while in high school, I took a class that allowed me to student teach for both my junior and senior years; first in a 1st grade class room and then a kindergarten class room. I love kids and babysitting seems like a great job for me while in nursing school! The only time conflict I have this summer is 1 summer class every Tuesday & Thursday (8am-12:15pm). The class ends on July 31st. Then once the school year comes back around, I am willing to build my class schedule around my caregiving schedule as much as possible.
