About Emma

Hello! My name is Emmacate, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a nanny passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. With a recent degree in Dance and Creative Writing from Oberlin College, I bring a unique blend of creativity, empathy, and organizational skills to my childcare experiences. I have 4+ years of experience working as a caregiver and 1 year of experience working in educational childcare settings including as an Aftercare Teacher at the German International School of Chicago. As an educator and childcare professional, you'll often find me getting involved in kids games and activities, playing along and fostering a sense of fun and imagination. One of my core values is fostering creativity in children. I strongly believe in the power of imaginative play, artistic expression, and encouraging children to think outside the box.
