About Emma

Hello!! My name is Emma ! I'm 25 years old, I'm married and I have an (almost) 2-year-old! I went to college at Penn State for 4 years when I got my degree in Secondary Education. I'm currently getting my certification and in the meantime I have been substitute teaching for grades K-12. I have a passion for working with others and instilling knowledge and learning into children. I'd describe my personality as personable, empathetic, hardworking. I like working with kids because I like to make an impression on younger generations, and provide a lasting connection. I'm looking for a job that allows flexibility and is not like a typical 9-5 desk job. I started working with kids when I was 13 y/o and I started babysitting teachers kids. I have worked with children into my prof. career. In college I completed teaching observations at a local high school, then completed student teaching in a local middle school. My skills include crafting, learning, and outdoor activities.
