About Emma

Hi! My name is Emma, and I've been working with kids for over 6 years -- and loving every minute of it. I was born in raised in Newport Beach, CA and recently graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Psychology. I started babysitting at 16 and have cared for children between the ages of 5 and 12, both in home settings and larger group environments. One of my favorite experiences was teaching sailing to 7-year-olds, where I led classes of over 20 kids and learned how to keep things fun, safe, and organized -- even on the water! I also have a 9-year-old sister I've helped care for since she was a baby, so I understand the day-to-day needs, routines, and patience that younger children require. I'm responsible, energetic, and always happy to get creative with games, crafts, or outdoor play. Whether you need help after school, on weekends, or occasionally, I'd love to support your family however I can!
