About Emma

I retired in February, 2023 after working for over 17 years as a librarian and over 15 years in human services. My experience includes working in institutional settings for children with special needs, and many years in group homes for develpmentally delayed adults. As a librarian I have developed and run many activities for ages ranging from infancy to seniors. Having a background in human services and community engagement as a librarian, I have worked with a variety of people of all ages and abilities. With a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's degree in library science, I have extensive experience in assisting individuals of all ages to achieve their personal goals. These skills are as simple as meal preparation, laundry, and running errands, to engaging children and adults in crafts, outdoor activities, community events and teaching basic computer skills. I am comfortable and enjoy working with children of all ages. Professional references available upon request.
