About Emma

I have 3 years of professional experience in childcare, but have been sitting casually for nearly 8 years. I have cared for children aged 10 weeks to 12 years. I interned in a state funded preschool program (GSRP) for 1 year and then transitioned into a center based preschool program. I continue to return to my center seasonally, and co-teach in the preschool aged room, where I regularly care for up to 20 children per day. I have also nannied for a child with special needs (emotional impairment), as well as have earned over 120 hours in professional development related to child development and safety. I am currently working to obtain my CDA (child development associate) and my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University.
